About Us
Over 100,000 people in the Greater Vancouver area are assisted each year by the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of Greater Vancouver. The Organization has more than 300 programs and services from child care to family resources to support for youth and seniors to community dinners and special events to camping and outdoor adventures. We work with volunteers from all walks of life - some have been with ANH for over 30 years!
The Association of Neighbourhood Houses of Greater Vancouver (ANH) is the umbrella organization under which each of seven Neighbourhood Houses and the Sasamat Outdoor Centre operate. The programs and services provided by ANH are locally-based but also supportive of Lower Mainland and provincial initiatives. ANH also sponsors the annual Lower Mainland Good Neighbours Awards, conducts fundraising initiatives, carries out community development projects, and supports the development of new Neighbourhood Houses and services.
