General Description
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is located on the shore of Sasamat Lake, only 9 km north of Port Moody Town Centre. Sasamat offers a variety of programs such as Day Camp and Resident Camp, as well as facility rentals for Community and School Groups.
Sasamat provides modern facilities in a wilderness setting with easy access to the hiking trails and recreational opportunities of Belcarra Regional Park and scenic Indian Arm Provincial Park.
Sasamat offers campers the opportunity to participate in a wide range of outdoor activities in a safe, supervised environment. Programs are geared to the age and ability of the individual, and to the interests of the group.
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is a member of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of Greater Vancouver, a community based United Way Agency, serving the Lower Mainland since 1894.
We are a progressive and socially responsible non-profit organizatiion dedicated to the growth of individuals and families and to the development of communities. Our qualified staff create a respectful, inclusive environment that provides memorable experiences in a natural setting.
